Adjusters seeking NFIP authorization must attend an NFIP Adjuster Claims Presentation and apply for authorization with the NFIP Bureau and Statistical Agent. The presentation closely follows the NFIP Claims Manual and is designed to improve clarity of claims guidance to adjusters so that policyholders experience consistency and reliability of service. The presentation provides processes and best practices for handling claims from the notice of loss to final payment.
Continuing Education
The 2021 NFIP Adjuster Claims Presentation is approved under the title, “2021 NFIP Adjuster Authorization Course” for six hours of continuing education credit in the states listed below. See your state for continuing education provider name, course title, and number. Once you successfully complete the class, the NFIP will report six hours of credit to the state you designate.
